Are you a seasoned traveler to Italy?

Puglia is one of Italy’s hidden treasures, easily identifiable as it stretches towards the east coast, forming the famous “heel of the boot”. This region has so much to offer visitors seeking a pristine destination away from crowded tourist areas such as Venice or Rome. Puglia is characterized by its relaxed and friendly atmosphere, creating a comforting and familiar environment for visitors.

It boasts crystal-clear waters, white-sand beaches, rustic old towns, flourishing countryside, and mouth-watering food. Puglia is also famous for its unique conical stone houses called “trulli, ” now UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

One of the highlights of Puglia is Alberobello, a town filled with thousands of this iconic trulli. It’s a fantastic place to wander and get lost in the narrow, winding streets. Another must-visit town is Ostuni, known as the “White City” for its whitewashed houses and buildings. From here, you can take a short drive to the stunning beaches of the Adriatic Sea.

Puglia is also a food lover’s paradise with fresh seafood, local vegetables, and olive oil. Must-try traditional dishes include orecchiette pasta with broccoli rabe and anchovies, burrata cheese, and the famous “panzerotti” filled with tomato and mozzarella.
