HIGHLIGHTS:
John and Marie were raised in religious homes in Cleveland, Ohio, but had never read the Bible and knew nothing of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. During their 20s and the Jesus Movement, they each were led to a saving faith in Jesus. Several years later they met and married. They wanted to tell people this Good News who never had an opportunity to hear about Jesus. Because John had been in Thailand as a soldier during the Vietnam War, they learned that the country was unreached and made plans to minister there. They joined WEC, Int. (Worldwide Evangelization for Christ) in 1983, were trained, and lived in Thailand for many years raising their four children there.
Today, John and Marie live in the Cleveland area but travel back there often. They are missionary trainers for WEC missionaries, and have been involved in many ministry leadership positions, discipleship, seminars, a weekly radio show, and Bible study initiatives both in the States, overseas, and within the Middle Eastern and Latino communities in the U.S. They have led several Bible study tours to Israel and now Italy. A lot of time is also spent with their four children who live nearby, love Jesus, and are raising their 13 grandchildren in the faith.
