This tour will visit some of the places where Paul planted the first churches in Turkey and Europe. We will also visit the island of Patmos, where John wrote the book of Revelation. We will share daily devotionals in this trip.
Greece offers a combination of history, natural beauty, gastronomy, hospitality, and cultural experiences that make it a wonderful country to visit. From ancient ruins to stunning beaches and delicious cuisine, Greece has something for everyone.
Greece is known as the cradle of Western civilization, with a history dating back thousands of years. It was home to famous ancient civilizations such as the Minoans, Mycenaeans, and the birthplace of democracy. The country is scattered with archaeological sites, including the Parthenon in Athens and the ancient city of Delphi, allowing visitors to step back in time and explore the origins of Western culture.
Greeks are known for their warm and friendly nature, offering visitors a genuine hospitality experience. Whether you are exploring cosmopolitan Athens or a small island village, you will be greeted with open arms and a genuine interest in sharing their culture and traditions.

This tour is ideal for someone who wants to visit Greece and the Islands and visit some of the key places where Paul the Apostle planted churches. Learn about early Christianity, enjoy daily devotionals, a Greek cruise, the delicious Greek cuisine, and explore the Greek beaches at your own leisure. Expect slow walking, and enjoy the Mediterranean lifestyle. Many activities are done in groups like excursions and the cruise. Because of the slow pace, this tour is ideal for visitors who will not enjoy a lot of walking or physical strain.
While in Greece, we will use private transportation. All transfers are included as described in the itinerary.
All hotels are 4 stars or superior and will have air conditioning. Rates are in double occupancy. Solo travel adds an additional fee. Hotels will have soaps, towels, etc. Just like in the US. But you will need personal things like toothpaste, shampoo, and so forth.
Most breakfasts are continental style (lighter than American style). Dinners and lunches usually include one or two courses. Breakfast and one main meal each day are included in your itinerary.
Electricity in Greece is 220 W. Connectors are different from US ones. You will need an adaptor if you need electricity there.

Get comfortable and board your overnight flight to Athens! We will meet you there!
We will meet you at Athens International Airport. Transfer and check in at your hotel. In the evening, enjoy our welcome dinner to meet your fellow travelers.
WELCOME DINNER
After breakfast, we depart to visit Athens with our tour guide. Wear comfortable shoes and get ready to discover why Athens is such a fascinating city. We will visit places like the sixth-century Temple of Zeus, the Hadrian Arch, the Old Royal Palace, home of the Hellenic Parliament, and walk around the ancient Acropolis, site of the Parthenon, Temple of Athena Nike, and Erechtheion. We will end our tour climbing to the top of the Aeropagus Hill, where Paul the Apostle gave his sermon in 51 A.D., and take in sweeping views of the city.
Then, we will proceed to enjoy the wonderful Greek Cuisine with a delicious lunch. For the rest of the day, you will be free to explore Athens at your leisure.
After breakfast, we will join our splendid Greek Cruise. Our first visit will be to the island of Mykonos. Mykonos is called “The Island of the Winds,” since it tends to be breezy on a daily basis. It is famous for its beautiful town, the beach parties, the windmills, and its festive atmosphere. You will be able to explore Mykonos on your own. Choose your own itinerary, or join a cruise excursion.
On your Cruise, you will be able to enjoy exterior cabins (an upgrade is available for balconies). Also, dining, gratuities, port charges, and on-board entertainment and activities are included in the cruise.
BREAKFAST – LUNCH – DINNER
After breakfast, we will depart to visit the ancient city of Ephesus from Kusadasi with our guided tour. There, Paul established the church in Ephesus which was a center for Christianity expansion in Asia Minor. In the afternoon, our Cruise will stop on the Island of Patmos, the Island of the Apocalipsis, where our group will visit John’s prison and learn about the time the Apostle spent there.

After breakfast, we will spend the day in Rodhas. The largest of Greece’s Dodecanese islands is known for its beach resorts, ancient ruins, and remnants of its occupation by the Knights of St. John during the Crusades. The city of Rhodes has an Old Town featuring the medieval Street of the Knights and the castle-like Palace of the Grand Masters. You will be able to explore Rodhas on your own. Choose your own itinerary, spend the day at one of the famous beaches, or join a cruise excursion.
BREAKFAST – LUNCH – DINNER
After breakfast, we will visit Crete, the largest and most populous of the Greek islands. known as the cradle of the occidental civilization. It was on Crete that the legendary Minoan civilization grew and strived during the Bronze Age and left an immense treasure behind. You will be able to visit the Knossos Palace with one of the tours offered on your Cruise or visit Heraklion at your own pace. Your choice!
The afternoon will be spent at Santorini, an island famous worldwide. And for good reason. a product of its many contrasts: black earth against whitewashed homes clinging to the cliff-side, or wild volcanic sculptures against sleek Cycladic lines. You will be able to explore Thira, the main island on you own.

After breakfast, will say goodbye to our cruise and take a bus to stop to visit Delphi, the Pan-Hellenic sanctuary of Delphi, where the oracle of Apollo spoke, was the site of the omphalos, the ‘navel of the world’. Blending harmoniously with the superb landscape and charged with sacred meaning, Delphi in the 6th century B.C. was indeed the religious center and symbol of unity of the ancient Greek world. Enjoy our guided tour of this Unesco World Site.
In the evening, check in at your hotel and have dinner on your own.

After breakfast, we will depart the hotel to visit Kalabaka, where the famous Meteora monasteries were built. The Greek word Meteora means “suspended in the air” and this phrase aptly describes these remarkable Greek Orthodox monasteries. Meteora is a great place to experience, a spectacular landscape and Byzantine monasteries perched on top of steep rocks that house priceless artifacts and wall paintings. Today only six monasteries are active with a small number of monks or nuns who reside on Meteora. Many people believe this is the most spectacular Unesco Heritage Site in Greece!
In the evening, return to Delphi.

After breakfast, we will visit Ancient Corinth, see the canal, and learn about Paul’s work here. Paul wrote two letters to Corinth’s Church full of significance and teachings. In the evening, check-in at your hotel and enjoy our farewell dinner.

If you are a US citizen with a US passport, you will not need a special visa to visit Greece. Though US citizens are required to get an e-visa to visit Turkey, because you will be visiting as part of the tour and with a Cruise just the port for one day, you will not need any special visas to visit. You will need Euros to buy in Greece. Most credit cards are also widely accepted. We recommend you change the currency at your local bank before arriving.
There is no need to book pre or post-tour accommodation. If you wish to extend your time in Italy or arrive first, it is possible. Just let us know and we will customize your stay.
